She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaston Elliott Byrd and Bettie Mildred Hudson Byrd; her husband Jasper Wade Lewis; her son Harry Keith Lewis; her granddaughter Redonna Helmick; her great grandchild Allison Grice; and her brothers, David and Raymond Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Lewis, Jr. (Debbie), Donald Glenn Lewis, Wanda Lewis Walters, Mary Lewis Grice and Beth Lewis Tauzell; and her siblings, Rosa Byrd Bass and Elliott Byrd (Jane).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Wiley Autry Cemetery (4474 Autryville Rd, Autryville, NC 28318).
