He was predeceased by: his parents, Gleon Fipps and Lavonia Fipps; his brother Sheldrick Fipps; and his brother-in-law Roger Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Fipps; his daughters, Susan Smith (Jerry Keith Smith Jr.) and Lynn Reece (Houston Curry Reece III); his siblings, Kellum Grant Fipps (Shirley), Anthony Fipps (Carolyn) and Carolyn Thompson; his sister-in-law Dolly Pearl Fipps; his grandchildren, Christopher Kyle Gray (Kelly), Dillon Shawn Parker (Brittany), Suanna Caitlyn Smith and Krista Elaine Smith; and his great grandchild Bryson Wade Parker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (3329 Beard Rd, Eastover, NC 28312). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
