With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise Marks in Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clay Birmingham and Anna Winfield Birmingham; her husband John P. Marks; her daughter-in-law Rose Bill Marks; and her siblings, William Clay Birmingham, Jr., Talmadge Birmingham and Maxine Straughn.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Marks (Cecelia) of Fayetteville and David Marks (Lynisa) of Fayetteville; her grandson Bryan Marks (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Lucia, Eleanor and William of Cary; her grandchildren, Anna Marks of Wilmington and Alan Marks (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Dylan and Zell of Raleigh; her granddaughter Carrie Doyle (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Peyton and Aubree Rose of Youngsville; and her brother Eugene Birmingham (Gene) of Polkton, NC..
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Hay Street United Methodist Church (320 Hay St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hay Street United Methodist Church Building Fund, 320 Hay St., Fayetteville NC 28301.
