She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Blackburn and Esther Blackburn (Farnum); her husband George Adams; her son Billy; and her siblings, Ross, Clarence Blackburn, Ruby Roberts, Virginia Akeright and Josephine Knight.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Adams of Fayetteville, NC, Donna Coon (Robert) of Fayetteville, NC, Les Adams (Diane) of Waverly, IA, Randy Adams (Elizabeth) of Hope Mills, NC and Mark Adams of Waverly, IA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Family Directed Funeral Service. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (611 Fairview Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
