With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kodah Allan Ray Dawkins of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 2. As we bid Kodah farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kodah is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Donald E. and Deborah S. Griffin. He is survived by: his parents, Kayla R. McCormick and Steven Dawkins; and his sister Ariyanna Broome. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
