With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan McCants of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2024 at the age of 94. As Jonathan departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jonathan may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jonathan leaves behind.
He is survived by: his sons, Roddney McCants of Fayetteville, Darrell McCants of Fayetteville, Jonathan McCants of Charlotte and Donnelly McCants of Jersey City, NJ.; and his siblings, Mary Simmons, Betty Goodman, Annie Wheeler, Ethel Rister, Jannie Mae Isom, Carolyn Wheeler, Thaddeus McCants and Therin McCants.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Covenant Fellowship (918 Person St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
