He is survived by: his wife Magdelana Erika McKnight; his children, Jimmy Dean McKnight, Jamie McKnight and Christine McKnight Hughes; his grandchildren, Michael, Kendall, Mason, Cooper McKnight and Lindsey Hughes; his great grandchildren, Selah Hughes, Owen and Oakley Robbins; and his siblings, Henry, Glenn McKnight, Vonne Stone and Marilyn Tilton.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 151 E Friendfield Rd, Coward, SC 29530. The military honors will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
