He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Idol. He is survived by: his children, Christopher "Mike" Idol and Jennifer Idol Spinosa; his grandchildren, Riley, Ella Spinosa and Hagan Idol; and his brother Randall Idol.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM at the Rogers and Breece Funeral Home (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lafayette Memorial Park (2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Fayetteville Firefighter Benevolent Fund in Jerry's name.
