It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffie Juanita Scoggins of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Melbourne Moore and Opal Mae Plunk Moore; her daughter Tiffany Scoggins; and her siblings, Rose Marie Daniels, Edward Hayes and Glenda Agnew.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Hobson Scoggins Jr.; her daughters, Mary Lucinda and Cindy Atwell (Derrick); her stepdaughter Amanda Cousins; her siblings, Melbourne Moore, Johnny Moore (Sissie), Terry Moore (Patsy), Joyce Suggs (Billy) and Sherry Brooks (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Kaleb Atwell, Landon Atwell and Delaney Atwell. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lafayette Funeral Home (6651 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Liberty, NC 28307).
