She is survived by: her children, Marny M. Marsh of Tallahassee, FL and James W. Marsh, Jr. of Fayetteville; her granddaughter Kennedy J. Penix of Greensboro; and her siblings, Dr. Denise M. Payton of Spring Lake and James D. Murchison, Jr. (Bettie) of Raleigh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
