She was predeceased by: her parents, William David Lockamy and Hattie Elizabeth Tyndall Lockamy; her husband Hershall Merel McLaurin; her son Franklin Lee McLaurin; her grandson Adam Ivey Carter; and her great grandchild Bryan Elijah Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Marie Edmondson, Elizabeth Mae Wade and David Merel McLaurin (Kimberly); her grandsons, Joshua Paul Edmondson (Jennifer), Evan Parrish Wade and Connor David McLaurin (Korra); and her great grandchildren, James Dean Vian, John Paul Edmondson and Katherine Elizabeth Edmondson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Chapel (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A committal service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lafayette Memorial Park (2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
