With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edgar Rudolph Harris of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Though Edgar has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Harris; his children, Andrew Harris (Miesha) and Angel Harris-Jackson (Sameer); his siblings, Tommy Harris and Jessie Harris; and his godchildren, Tehrinshay Griffin, Jeremy Griffin (Dee) and Anton Griffin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
