He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beasley and Velvia Stancil Beasley; his former wife Gayle Jackson; his daughter Wendy Friend; and his stepson Christopher Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Judy B. Beasley; his daughter Renee Fisher (Gerald) of Roseboro; his grandchildren, Madison Fisher (Will) of Roseboro and Jeffrey Bone of Georgia; his stepchildren, Jodie Jones of Shallotte and Brian Stephens (Melanie) of Fayetteville; his stepgrandchildren, Lauren Richards (Blake) of Wendall, Rachel Lonergan (Ryan) of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Joshua Jones of Wilmington, Jacob Jones of Fayetteville, Caleb Jones of Shallotte, Kiley Stephens of Fayetteville and Savannah Stephens of Fayetteville; his great grandchildren, Reid, Remy and Riley; and his siblings, Durwood Beasley (Gayle) of Fayetteville, Donald Beasley (Kaye) of Atkinson, NC, Joyce Powers of Hobbs, Hazel Hall of Roseboro and Geraldine Vinson (Randle) of Roseboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (3934 Sunnyside School Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28312).
