He is survived by: his son Canon Hughes (Ashley); his siblings, Smith (Rhonda), Mary "Sis" Gause (Johnnie) and Lisa Coleman (Al); his niece Keri-Ana Bartley (Jordan); his nephews, Shane Langley (Jaimie), Andrew Dicicco and J. Smith; and his friend Timmy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Hope Church of God (3109 Camden Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
