He is survived by: his wife Cyndi; his daughter Chayse; his parents, Stanley Griffin and Cecile Griffin; his brother Trace Griffin (Connie) of Wilmington; his niece Ashton Griffin (Josh Wiggins Rosier) of Lumberton; his great-nephews, Lanning Kistler and Griffin Rosier; his aunt Marian Haire (Larry) of Raeford; and his cousins, Richard Haire (Michelle) of Raeford, Emily Gray (Mike) of Waxhaw, Joe Griffin (Jeanne) of Columbia, SC and Jerry Griffin of Holden Beach.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Chad's honor to Village Baptist Church, Manna Church, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
