In the vast expanse of eternity, Betty shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Betty farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Quay and Louise Cypert; and her husband John. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Daugherty O'Neil of Fayetteville, NC and John (Phyllis Daugherty) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her grandchildren, Angela O'Neil Velazquez (Eddie), Katie O'Neil Herring (Chris), Rebekah Daugherty Ashlock (Eric Lengany), Alison Daugherty Wofford (Russell Layson) and John O'Neil. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (201 Anderson St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
