She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Shillinglaw of York, SC and Robert Munroe McDaniel of Union, SC.. She is survived by: her husband Mayon Weeks, Jr.; her grandchildren, Emmeline Weeks, Syau Mei Lee Thach, Jasper Weeks and Sierra Mei Weeks; her sisters, Marty Brownlow (John) and Jan Schnurr (Paul); and her sister-in-law Julie Weeks-Rufenacht (Brady). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (102 Ann St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to either the First Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville, the Lung Cancer Research Society or the American Cancer Society.
