She was predeceased by: her parents, William Moore Nicholson and Mabel Rhodes Nicholson; her husband John Ashford; her son Michael Ashford; and her sister Judy Martin.
She is survived by: her brother William M Nicholson, Jr. (Gay) of Jasper, GA; her nephew William Nicholson; her son John N. Ashford (Laura T. Ashford) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Clay Ashford and Hadley Ashford; and her daughter Sarah Guill (Rodney) of Autryville, NC.. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church (1601 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28305).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Quaker House, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, or to a charity of ones choice.
