A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt Pisgah Baptist Church (414 Pittman Grove Church Rd, Raeford, NC 28376). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rockfish Memorial Park (4017 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).

“I knew Alex from his Black and Decker days and again when he came to work at Ft Bragg. He was a special person and was always so kind to me. Whenever my life was not at its best, especially when I lost my mama, he was calling and checking up on me often. He was so special to me that he got my mamas dining room set when she passed, I was very picky about who got her things. Alex was and always will be family to me. Rest in peace dear friend. I will see you again one sweet day. ❤️”
