He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Gay Harris; and his parents, Lee Roy Gay and Julia Olivia Gay. He is survived by: his son Will Gay (Karen) of Grimesland; his girlfriend Diane Moore; his siblings, Judy Ann Gay of Blackjack, Billy Goff (Kay) of Rocky Mount, Ray Gay of New Bern, Ricky Gay (Mary) of Belvoir and James Gay (Tonya) of Blackjack; and his grandchildren, Jordan Harris and Gabby Gay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
