It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Patrick Johnston of Farmville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ewing Johnston and Elizabeth Falkenberg Johnston; and his brother Scott Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Trena Pollard Johnston; his daughters, Amy Pollard, Anna Johnston, Beth Williams, Heather Tucker and Kimberly Johnston; his siblings, Anne Bailey and Jeff Johnston; his aunt Carolyn Howington; his brother-in-law Tal Pollard; his cousins, Shawn Sitton (Kristi), Jennifer Fitzgerald (Michael) and Bud "Butch" Howington (Carole); and his pet Azula. He is also survived by children; several grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
