With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Melvin Ellis (Farmville, North Carolina), born in Macclesfield, North Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruby Whitley (Bob), Weldon Ellis (Sybil) and Willard Ellis (Barbara). He is survived by: his wife Rudell Matthews Ellis; his daughters, Martha Williamson (Bob) of Clayton and Betsy Moore (Chris) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Chase Moore and Sara Williamson; and his brothers, Hildon Ellis (Jean) of Farmville and Billy Ellis (Marie) of Winterville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
