She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl W. Holmes and Lillian Bertie Holmes; and her sister Dorothy Holmes Crews (Bernice Benjamin Turnage). She is survived by:, Beth, Elizabeth Biesel, Will Biesel, Emily Biesel Deerin (David), Carl, Dean Gibson and Savannah Gibson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (3653 E Wilson St, Farmville, NC 27828). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
