She was predeceased by: her parents, Estelle Newcomb and William Fenner Griffin of Snow Hill. She is survived by: her son Billy Wooten (Melvin Hutcheson); her great grandchild Dylan Williams; her grandchildren, Tripp Scott and Cass Wooten; her daughter-in-law Connie Wooten; her sisters, Kay Wade and Mary Ann Mooring; her brothers-in-law, W. A. "Bud" Wooten and Norwood Wooten; her niece Mavis Mercer; her stepdaughter Linda Conner; and her husband Sugg. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
