She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Floyd Murphy; her parents, Reddin R. Bailey and Mary Gay Bailey; her siblings, Beady Ann Bailey, Rachel Bailey Hill, Aaron, William Perry, Moses, Dove and Edgar Lee Bailey; her son-in-law Anthony "Tony" Wayne Ellis; and her nephew Jarvis D. Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Murphy Ellis of Farmville; her grandchildren, Jesse Wayne Ellis and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Murphy; her nieces, Joyce Ferrell and Janet Hill; and her nephew Rev. Reddin Franklin Hill (Evelyn). She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; many special friends.
