It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Stallings Williams of Farmville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Wheless and Ruby Clark Stallings; her husband Walter L. Williams; and her siblings, Howard Stallings (Annette) of Oxford and Jayne Simpkins of Raleigh.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Williams Clark (Edwin) of Greenville and David L. Williams (Terri) of Atlantic Beach; her grandchildren, Tyler Edwin Clark of Greenville, William L. Clark (Kristen) of Greenville, Joshua Walter Clark of Greenville, Allison Marie Clark of Charleston, SC, Emily Clark Jordan (Todd) of Wilmington and Francesca Gayle Williams of Lake Worth, FL.; her brother Graham Stallings (Anna) of Youngsville, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Nobles of Greenville and JoAnne Corey of Greenville. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
