It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Mozingo Jr. (Farmville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther B. Mozingo and Lila Smith Mozingo; and his sisters, Marie Allen of Farmville, Francis Harris of Sanford, FL, Barbara Jean Mozingo of Farmville and Voncile Allen of Greenville.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Mozingo; his children, Katherine McDuffie (Kirk) of Rocky Mount and Scott Mozingo (Tracy) of Angier; his grandson Zach Mozingo of Angier; and his sister Carolyn Cobb of Winterville. He is also survived by six children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Goldsboro and Eureka Methodist Church.
