He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Baker and Lela Baker. He is survived by: his son Kenneth Ray Hemby (Hope) of Pinetops, NC; and his siblings, Myrtle B. Palmer (Herbert) of Emerald Isle, NC and Lonnie T. Baker of Greenville. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
