It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Ratliff Morris (Farmville, North Carolina), born in Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milliard Parnell Ratliff and Mary Louis Culp Ratliff. She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Laura Anne (Julie) and Cynthia Mary Hazel (Cindi); her grandchildren, Ryan Scott Howell (Sagel Trachier) and Melissa Laura Howell (Garrett Cross); her great grandchild Miles William Cross; her brother Willie Lamar Morris (Gayle Griggs Morris); her friend Laura; her daughters, Julie and Cindi; and also Mickey. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
