He is survived by: his daughter Ella Leigh Parris of Rocky Mount; his parents, Mary Ann Barwick Parris of Wilson and Edward Earl "Ed" Parris; his stepmother Gladys of Wilson; and his siblings, Sonya P. Sannes (Bryan) of Sims and Jackie Parris of Bailey.
