He was predeceased by: his daughter Darlene "Jody" Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Mary Moore Braxton; his daughters, Rachel Nichols (Lee) of Greenville and Patricia Meyer (Ken) of Grimesland; and his siblings, Frances Mitchell of Greenville, Wesley Ray Braxton of Hampton, VA and Ronnie Earl Braxton of Greenville. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
