He is survived by: his wife Sally Beaman Smith; his children, Johnny Mack Smith, Jr. (NeAnn) of Maury, Carr Smith (Crissy) of Farmville, Steven Smith of Farmville, Frederick Smith (Sabrina) of Snow Hill and Jacob Smith of Snow Hill; his brother Jerry Smith (Glenesa) of Walstonburg; and his grandchildren, Matt Smith, William Smith, Maggie Smith, Taylor Smith, Mary Smith and Joe Smith.
