She was predeceased by: her father Wayne Douglas Smith; her brother Steven W. Smith; her grandparents, Pleasant and Nettie Smith; her stepfather Allan Ray Hudson; and her parents-in-law, Fannie Earlene Alphin and Edward Earl Alphin.
She is survived by: her husband Billy W. Alphin; her daughter Christi Alphin; her mother Lula B. Hudson; her sister Wanda Biggs (Archie); her nephews, James (Megan) and Ricky (Catherine); her niece Sara Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Edwards (Frank), Sharon Kent, William Jones, Randy Jones (Caroline) and Eddie Alphin (Cathy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
