He was predeceased by: his wife Donnie Faye Morris; his parents, James Earl Morris Sr. and Hannah Marie Mattox Morris; and his siblings, Dot Williamson, Dorothy Nunn and Walter L. Morris.
He is survived by: his son Romus Earl Morris Sr. (Robyn Morris) of Farmville; and his grandchildren, Romus Earl Morris Jr. and Raven M. Townley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
