He is survived by: his wife Jean Allen Ellis; his children, Joan Bailey (Al) of Farmville and Steve Ellis (Donna) of Farmville; his grandchildren, Brandon Ellis, Leigh, Scott Ellis (Neely), Katie Howard (Matt) and Tyler Bailey (Danielle); his great grandchildren, Colby Ellis, Brooke Ellis, Teagan Ellis, Ellis Howard and Aubree Ellis; his brother Billy Ellis (Marie) of Winterville; and his pet Peter Piper.
