With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Dewey Hathaway (Farmville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Joyner Hathaway; his children, Karen H. James (Jeff) and George D. Hathaway III; his grandchildren, Will James (Sarah), Jessica Jones (Zack), Jason James, George D. Hathaway IV and Joseph Lee Hurd; his great grandchild Bristol James; and his siblings, Dot Russell, Raye Black (Terry) and Bobby Hathaway (Shirley).
