He is survived by: his wife LaRuth M. Speight of Snow Hill, NC; his sons, Derrick Speight of Greenville, NC, Tyrone Sutton of Greenville, NC and Edwin Jones of New Haven, CT; and his siblings, Billy Ray Speight of Maury, NC and Clara Mae Speight Dixon of Snow Hill, NC.. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
