He was predeceased by: his parents, William Byrd and Marjorie Byrd of South Carolina; and his son Charles Toney of Walstonburg. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Byrd; his daughter Suzanne (Rodney Lovic) of Walstonburg; his grandchildren, Megan (Brandon Dixon) of Winterville, Daniel Duncan, Emily Richardson of Bailey, JoJo Lovic and Harmony Lovic of Walstonburg; and his brother Bill Byrd of Marion, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Farmville Church of God, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
