It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Thomas Amerson (Farmville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Bennie is survived by: son Greg Amerson of Fountain; sisters, Marlene Bass of Emporia, VA, Barbara Eatmon of Ahoskie and Nancy Carey of Comer, GA; and grandchildren, Ben and Brooke Amerson. Bennie is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
