It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Chiasson Griffin (Farmville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 18, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Aline Clement; her husband Joseph "Joby" Carroll Griffin, Sr.; and her grandson Joseph "Joey" Carroll Griffin, III. She is survived by: her parent Sidney Chiasson; her children, Patricia Griffin Kesler of Raleigh, Nora Griffin Williford (Chris) of Wilson and Joseph Carroll Griffin, Jr.; her wife Nicki of Farmville; her grandchildren, Sarah Swan Kesler O'Dea, Sydney Blair Williford Wilkinson, Griffin Williford, Seth Williford, Mark Griffin, Thomas Griffin, Eason Mathews, Catherine "Caty" Marie Mathews, Asa Mathews, Mallory Mead Perkins and Sailer Elizabeth Perkins; her great grandchildren, Celeste Redmond, Tristan Griffin, Josie Grace Griffin, Owen Mathews, Abel Mathews and Darden O'Dea; and also, Donna Griffin Mathews (Reuben) of Farmville and Angela Griffin Perkins (Phillip).
