She was predeceased by: her husband Warren H. Gurganus. She is survived by: her sons, Warren Douglas Gurganus (Joyce) of Apex and Melvin Hunter Gurganus (Carol) of Colerain; her brother Frank "Fonda" Ross of Port Orchard, WA; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Greenwell, Julienne Vicente and Roxanne Huffman. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
