She was predeceased by: her parents, Remus Everett and Carrie Dell Everett; her husband Frank Lawson Powell; and her sister Betty Everett Carlson. She is survived by: her son Scott Everett Carlson (Sweety); her grandchild Shaan; her son Matthew Loyd Carlson (Lauren); her brother-in-law Rodney Carlson; her niece Mary Catherine Harrison (Ben); her great-nieces, Ann Frances and Sarah Lawson; and her sister-in-law Barbara Ann Francis.
