It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vennie Hudson (Fallston, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cornelius Hudson and Elmer Lillie Swink Hudson; her husband Hoover Ben Hudson; her daughter Mary Hudson; and her brother John Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Lillie Buff of Morganton, Linda Hudson of Casar, Peggy Canipe of Lawndale, Sherry Henderson of Casar, Harold Hudson of Casar, Rick Hudson of Cherryville, Wayne Hudson of Casar and Dowell Hudson of Casar; and her sisters, Betty Hudson of Morganton, Margie Hudson of Bostic, Georgia Barrett of Shelby, Zennie Smith of Lawndale and Wilma Epley of Morganton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
