He is survived by: his wife Frances Fowler Lutz; his daughters, Janet Lynn Lutz of Fallston and Kimberly Lutz Gragg (Lee) of Morganton; his grandchildren, Troy, Ella and Izora Gragg of Morganton; his brother John Reid Lutz, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama.; and his caregivers, Patty Beam, Kim Eaker, Betty Jo Dillingham and Kay Lawrence. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren.
