She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Smith (Michael) of Ayden and Kelly Jones (Dale) of Whitakers; her grandchildren, Lance Smith (Mackenzie) and Kelsey Smith; and her siblings, Billy Bridgers of Tarboro, Betty Lou Proenneke of Ponca, OK, Deborah Norris of Tarboro, Ruth Turner of Tarboro, David Bridgers of Tarboro, Naomi Burgess of Tarboro and Rita Freeman of Tarboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
