He is survived by: his friend Bilge Club; his wife Judith Poyner Crisp; his children, Susan Crisp Valenti (Michael) of Greenville, Laney Crisp McClure (Cullen) of Atlanta and George Bennett Crisp, II of Savannah; his grandchildren, Matthew, Emma, Gracie and Dominick; his sister-in-law Carole Poyner of Columbia; his niece Lori Poyner of Atlanta; his children, Jake and Carlee; and his nephew Alvin Q. Poyner, II of Columbia.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to either the Endowment Fund of the Music Ministry at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, 429 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31410 or one's charity of choice.
