It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Leroy Carraway (Falkland, North Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2018, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Carraway; and his parents-in-law, Woodrow Dixon and Rosa Lee Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Dixon Carraway; his son Lee Carraway of Falkland; his grandchildren, Chasity Renee Carraway, Daniel Hutsell of Italy, Leah Jamison Carraway and David Case Carraway; his mother Loyce Corbett Carraway of Falkland; and his siblings, Tony Carraway (Terry) of Falkland, Lisa Carraway Nelson of Washington and Kim Carraway Currin (Creighton) of Grimesland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gum Swamp OFWB Church, or to the Falkland Volunteer Fire Department.
