He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Alexander Kirk and Sallie Pauline Heilig Kirk; and his siblings, Larry Wayne Kirk, Donald Paul Kirk and Alice Faye Kirk Riddle.
He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Kirk Peeler (Ted), Brenda Kirk Ballew (Mike) and Patricia Kirk Morgan (Boyd); his brother-in-law Eddie Riddle; and his nieces and nephews, Mark Peeler, Sharon Bame, Joy Lingle, Lloyd Ballew, Amanda Meacham, Greg Riddle, Stephen Riddle and Jason Riddle.
