It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Pernia Kiser Sweet of Faith, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David E. Kiser and Grace Bell Clay Kiser; her husband Ronald A. Sweet; and her siblings, Juanita Kiker, Rufus Kiser, Manuel Kiser, Jerry Kiser and Dwight Kiser.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael D. Barbee (Janet) of Kannapolis, Myron P. Barbee (Karen) of China Grove and Jeffery Allen Barbee of Rockwell; her stepchildren, Ron Sweet (Sherrie) of Sequim, WA, Tom Sweet (Monica) of Charlotte and Natalie Kaschmitter (David) of Post Falls, ID; and her sisters, Mary Grace Burris and Angela McDonald (David). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Phaniels Baptist Church or to Hospice of Cabarrus County.
