It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Bumgarner (Faith, North Carolina), who passed away on March 25, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Larkin James, Sr.; her husband Thurman E. Bumgarner; her daughters, Deborah E. Chamberlain and Rebecca Ann Hurst; and her sisters, Kay Frances Johnson, Mary Lou Hawkins and Marie Hearn.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Elizabeth Pearson James; her daughters, Sherry James Chamberlain of Gaffney, SC and Jenny Lynn Chamberlain; her siblings, Bobby Gene Fowler (Bonnie) of China Grove, Shirley Stottman (Harold) of China Grove and Judy Leazer (Jerry) of China Grove; and her brother-in-law Ray Johnson of Kannapolis. She is also survived by six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
